Yvonne Krystman is an abstract mixed-media artist whose work explores the interplay of texture, unconventional materials, and textile design.
Born and raised in Poland, she lived in Warsaw until the age of 21, where she began her artistic journey as an art teacher. She later spent several years in the beautiful, sunny south of Italy before moving to Canada, where she earned a degree in commercial art. Eventually, Yvonne returned to her roots in fine art, embracing abstract expression and developing a body of work that has been exhibited extensively in galleries and museums across the USA and Canada. She has also completed prestigious artist residencies in both countries.
In 2018, she shifted her focus to textile and fashion design, driven by a desire to bring art into everyday life. This vision led to the creation of Art4Wear—a “portable gallery” of limited-edition wearable art pieces that celebrate individuality and creative expression. Her collections have been featured in numerous fashion shows across Florida and New York, including appearances at Miami Swim Week and New York Fashion Week.
Yvonne currently lives in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico area, in Bradenton, Florida, where she continues to create, explore, and grow her vision of wearable art.
